A number of sales people have been exceptionally effective during this lockdown.
This sounds counterintuitive, because you would expect that sales people would be much more persuasive when meeting their clients face to face, but their outstanding performance was a function of the high quality of their product.
They didn’t need to indulge in high pressure sales tactics, and customers were much more relaxed, which means they weren’t on their guard, and were better able to appreciate how the product solved their problem for themselves
It is also because some people are good online rather than meeting face to face.
