Ironically, the stories of ‘rags to riches’ are pervading and penetrating into minds of people who are aggressively looking for short cuts. They defy the organic growth phenomena. These stories of success, one in billion, goes to motivate weak. It doesn’t convey the characteristics of organic growth without defying ethos of natural civilization and human development. We should not use these as examples, even under fallacious law of averages or even as stories of great success.
Opposed to the same, we are witness to Wework, Theranos and other contemporaries. So it doesn’t level up.
They only and only go to reflect nadirs of existensialism to zeniths of opportunism- especially experienced by those actors – who may suppress hypocrisy, even otherwise – which current and aspiring communities cannot decipher and tend to build expectations out of frenzy or naivety unfortunately.
It’s a dangerous Neuro-linguistic Programming as good as eye wash like political manifestos and promises to weak electorate.
We need inclusive education and capacity building approaches to fuel the aspirations of budding entrepreneurs in particular and society at large.
Not everybody is a Zuckerberg, larry page , Bill Gates etc…. I have seen young people who are barely able to write compilable code talk of starting software product companies…
You should look the other way around. If ritesh agarwal would have thought this, there would be no OYO today. And same goes for zuckerberg, gates and larry. Success doesn’t depend on age, it depends on how fast you learn and grow!
Hence the problem of scaling fast
It is not just you. The age curve of successful founders speaks for itself 🙂

But the odds of it happening are not worth risking everything.
Rightway to caution the young entrepreneurs but young minds going to rock and taking right leadership guidance from experienced will add value.
Entrepreneural mindset can not be generated , it stays within which helps to show up when things are not favourable , daily show up which is a passion , realization of the reality and not distracted any way by that . As i always work on my own , these are some of the parameters which helped me always .
