The article is more valid in developing countries like India where it is a fact with lesser salaried for medical professionals, but in US where doctors are the highest paid professionals across all sectors, it would be naive to consider it exploitation. Work ethics are practiced by many other professions without the moral arrogance & self victimization which is reflected in the author’s views.

  2. They are not slaves to be exploited. 
    Cant this be done through subordinate staffs/clerks?
