Inspirational. Kudos.
There are more that enough doctors who do such things everyday… unfortunately it’s the few negative stories that get limelight and the government seems to add fuel to the fire.
Excellent. But, it should not become a business. I heard that startups pay Rs 20 K to 40 K to some website that writes writes their story! It looks like media coverage, but , it is paid advertisement. Like paying a journalist write all good things about your start up.
Genuine stories of Doctors are plenty. We all have met more than 5-6 doctors who are amazing. They stories are with us. no need to write about a doctor who is really good. He does not care about publicity. Only fear is that soon people may start gaming the system for brownie points.
Dr. Jagannath of Tata Memorial, Mumbai who operated upon my dad for stomach cancer used ask patients from Hyd to meet my dad first before going to meet the Doctors!

(Dr. Jagannath now helps many through indiacancer.org)
The stories will help a lot. I only hope and pray the stories are not manipulated for monetary benefit.
Anyway, congrats for the nice initiative. All the best to the mydoctormyhero.com .
Ramesh Kumar these are genuine stories, and we do need to write about the good doctors – they serve as role models for young doctors. More importantly, these stories will help patients to identify good doctors as well.
Please do share your story about Dr Jagannath on the site. This the best way of thanking him – publicly!
