Business Madness – Mutual Assured Destruction

Cutting your prices isn’t a strategy. It isn’t even thinking.

Whenever you buy or sell something cheap—well, someone else must be paying, being exploited somehow.

The environmental impact of buying crap is huge. When you buy a T-shirt for two dollars, you have to think that some poor worker in Bangladesh is being taken advantage of by the factory owner, so you can do that.

The race to the bottom—it’s just total suicide!

From the book, A Bigger Prize, by Margaret Heffernan.
