The reason we have botched up the Coronavirus outbreak by mindlessly extending the lockdown is because of wilful blindness – the reluctance on the part of our politicians to accept the fact that in India the disease outbreak has been self limited. We have over-reacted and the ‘cure’ has been worse than the disease
